Our Story
Owned and operated by Christine and Ross Snyder. The Snyders have been involved locally in the pet care industry since 1993. Chris has been training and competing with dogs since the early 70’s when she took her first Collie Duke to the top of his division.
Chris is a Certified Master Groomer, Member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America, and the National Kennel Association.
I knew at a young age that this was my calling. I wake up every day thankful that I am able to do what I love best!

Chris
Hi, my name is Chris I’ve been training and competing in obedience with dogs since I was eight years old. I have 5 dogs currently. Two black labs two Fox red labs and one miniature American shepherd. I also have several cats and a horse named Montana.

We have lot’s of faces to know and love here at The Paw Patch. Stop on by and meet us in person but for now, here’s just a bit to know about everyone who pours into the facility and your pups!
Ross
Hi, my name is Ross. I am a retired high school science teacher. I am the cog behind the scene that keeps the wheel going at The Paw Patch. I handle pick-ups and drop-offs, landscaping, and helping with all the training puppies. I share 5 dogs, multiple cats, & 1 horse.
Chloe
Say hey to the sweetest heart you’ve ever met!
Chloe is a hardworking and dedicated member of The Paw Patch crew. A few things to note about her, she has been a vegetarian for over 13 years! And as an eclectic collector, her personal array of snow globes is currently at 87. But even more than she loves displaying her finds or treating herself to some hummus dip, Chloe adores caring for the cats who come here to board!

Chloe can be found working at the front desk, answering phones, and getting all the cat cuddles over by the Kitty Condos.
Ashlyn
Meet our radiant resident rocker!
Ashlyn is a digital learning superstar who gets the best of both worlds by working at a job where she gets to take care of all kinds of awesome animals and in her free time create music and play the guitar. Although she loves all the dogs who join in her play groups, her favorite breed is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Ashlyn can be found monitoring the play groups, cleaning the fans, and singing along to ‘Meet Me In The Woods’ by Lord Huron.
Mike
Without a doubt, we’ve got the coolest kids on the block!
During his military service, Mike has visited over 15 different countries. After retiring from both the Army and Comcast, we now have the absolute pleasure of his company. He keeps us posted on the best movies (the man’s knowledge of the marvel universe is truly impressive) and gives it %100 when it comes to loving the dogs he works with. He is especially fond of Pit Bulls as the best dog he ever owned was a Pit.

Mike can be found sharing his bacon treats with the dogs, telling his coworkers the greatest stories, and giving apples to our horse neighbor, Montana.
Ben
With a gentle soul and a kinder heart- here’s Ben!
Ben does a bit of everything between working in the kennel, training, and grooming. He is a reliable worker that supports the work we do. Such a big aspect of our mission in helping dog owners relies on the dependability of employees like him. Rain or shine, Ben is there to help and with a sincere attitude of caring about your pet – this is the kind of person you feel comfortable to leave in the care of others. Ben also enjoys listening to and composing music. His coworkers can admit to his playlists always being ‘Straight Fire!’

Ben can be found going the extra mile, giving extra cuddles to the more nervous puppies, and ensuring that the dog’s environments are clean and safe.
Melanie
Don’t stop now, the best is yet to come!
You simply must meet our superstar, Melanie, who is simply the best! Melanie is an artist at heart as she shows off her skills at work through the grooming we offer on site. If you’ve loved the fresh cut your pup came home with, then chances are Melanie had a part to play in the TLC that went into your fur baby’s spa day. Her artistic abilities don’t stop there- she also does crochet and painting in her free time. But don’t let the artistic talents and beautiful face fool you- this girl has got a strong fighter’s spirit with a black belt in karate and a desire to pursue more in the way of martial arts!

Melanie can be found shampooing pooches, organizing the laundry, or presenting clean and spiffy pups to their delighted owners.
Kaiden
It’s an honor and a priveledge to introduce you to such a baller!
Kaiden is the kind of guy you can depend on whether it’s the sports field or in the workplace. He always arrives eager to learn more about how to do his job to the best of his abilities and his skills are unparralleled. At school, he trains regularly and plays on his soccer team. It is truly a pleasure working alongside such a hardworking and amazing young man. He is definitely a favorite of the labs and shepherds when he takes them all out in the yard for play groups!

Kaiden can be found on his way to recieve play care pups at the entrance, watering the flowers and foliage around the property, and throwing the tennis balls for the larger breeds in the back yard.
